Bead Show

Went to the bead show this weekend (twice) and of course I had a blast ! I always wish I had more money, but in fact, I was able to buy plenty.  I made this pair of earrings with the fire agate beads I bought. The silver bead caps I already had. $22.00

North Market Artisan Sundays

Well, my friend Susan and I just finished our first Artisan Sunday at the North Market. We had a great time, sold some gorgeous jewelry and met a lot of wonderful people.  The weather was great and not a drop of rain descended from the sky. The market was especially bustling for quite a few hours. I even ran into my elementary school teacher from Cleveland who I have not seen in years. It was great to see her. Several other vendors had items such as large personalized pots, felt scarves, soaps and lotions, live music and much more. Of course, there is always the delicious food inside. The diversity of vendors is great. Make it your business to get down there on the first Sunday of each month. Susan and I will most likely be doing the 3rd Sunday of several of the summer months, but have not settled on the dates yet.  By the way, the necklace in this photo is called Copper Glory and is only $20.00.
